“I will bless them who bless you” The blessings of the Lord make one rich, Proverbs 10:22
Thanks so much for sponsoring us as we spread the word to help Ukrainian Jews fulfil their dream to begin a new life as citizens of Israel. We appreciate so much your partnership as we see the prophecy unfolding as Jews from the “North” begin new lives in the Promised Land.
Throughout many scriptures we see God’s tender comfort for the persecuted, grief-stricken, and in far too many cases, hungry and starving. Sadly this is a picture of the present situation in the northern countries. The Ukrainian Jews (the Ukraine is directly north of Israel) are desperate.
With each truth you proclaim. Each prayer you pray, and each check you write, you touch the heart of the Most High and lift up the hands of the weary multitudes of those who yearn to go home to Israel. Bridges for Peace is touching Israel in feeding, clothing and comforting the destitute, warming the homes of those who shiver from the freezing winter drafts of the North where temperatures can plummet to minus 50 degrees. And yet stories of those you have touched through your generosity are heartwarming.
Here’s Menachem’s story:
He writes, “Dear Sponsors, I am now finishing my degree. I have made it this far. Pursuing a higher education is challenging when you are in a foreign country without your family. I can’t stress enough how much pressure was taken off my plate with the food packages, the transportation vouchers, and the financial help with tuition, all this from Bridges for Peace. You have taught me to look for the good in the world. I will always remember the assistance I received from you and I plan on passing it forward when I’m in the position to help out someone in need. By doing this, your act of giving will live on and the world will be a better place. I am attaching a photo of myself, which was taken at a cooking class I participated in recently. Wishing you peace, happiness, and prosperity to the Bridges for Peace family. May you always have the means to be on the giving end.
With much love, Menachem (at home in Israel taking a cooking class)
